Sure you can find floor coatings anywhere. Visit your local paint store or Home Depot and you will find a wide selection of types and prices and the coatings might even work… for a little while. See, the problem with these readily available floor coatings is that they are either created from water based paints or use cheap epoxies diluted with cut-rate fillers and solvents.
These coatings may look good initially, but quickly will fail, pulling up after tire and foot traffic. When you go to the time, trouble and expense to prep and apply a product to your floor, you want to be sure that the coating will adhere and not pull up three months later.
